Duomo and The Last Supper together

Booking Leonardo is the hard part; a combined tour handles that for you.

  • 15 minutes with Leonardo
  • Booking always required
  • Closed on Mondays

In short

  • The Last Supper can be seen only with an advance booking, for everyone, even infants and free tickets.
  • It is closed on Mondays, so plan a combined day for Tuesday to Sunday.
  • Your visit lasts 15 minutes, and you must arrive 30 minutes before your time or lose the ticket.
  • A combined tour includes the booking; the Last Supper tag on each ticket row confirms it.

Tour or two separate bookings

Combined tour Book each yourself
Last Supper slot Included You find one
Duomo ticket Included One date only, chosen by you
Timing between the two Set by the tour Yours to plan
Flexibility The partner's conditions Last Supper tickets can't be changed or refunded
Cost In the ticket rows €15 for Leonardo plus your Duomo ticket

A tour is the sensible route if you can't find a Last Supper ticket for your dates. If you can get a slot yourself and want your own pace, separate bookings work fine.

If you book yourself

Book Leonardo first and the Duomo second, because the Last Supper slot is the one you can't move. The official sale runs on one purchase per calendar year, up to 5 tickets, each with a visitor's name, and you will need ID.

Then build the cathedral around that time. Since 1 November 2026 official Duomo tickets are valid only on the chosen date, so don't buy until the Last Supper is confirmed. Allow for the 30-minute arrival rule at Santa Maria delle Grazie, Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie 2.

The practical limits

  • Hours. Tuesday to Sunday 8:15–19:00, last admission 18:45. Closed on Mondays, 1 January and 25 December.
  • Group size. Up to 40 people go in at a time.
  • Luggage. Bulky bags are not allowed, and the few free lockers are for emergencies, up to 60 minutes. The Duomo has its own rules on bags and clothing.
  • First Sundays. Free tickets on the first Sunday of the month are sold online only, from noon on the previous Wednesday, up to 5 tickets.

Leonardo's Sala delle Asse at the Castello Sforzesco was closed for restoration at our last check, so don't plan on it. For a different pairing, try the Duomo with La Scala.

Are there last-minute Last Supper tickets?
Extra tickets go on sale every Wednesday at noon for the following week, online only. Partner tours are the other route, depending on availability.
Can I change a Last Supper ticket?
Tickets bought from the museum carry names and cannot be changed or refunded. Partner tours have their own conditions, shown in the ticket rows.
