Who we are

duomo.co.it is an independent editorial guide to the Duomo di Milano. We are not the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo, we are not the official site, and we do not sell tickets ourselves.

How we check facts

Prices, hours, rules and dates come from official sources first: the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo, the Diocese of Milan, the Comune di Milano and the operators of each place we mention. We keep each claim with its source and date. Each page shows the date its information was checked and lists its sources by name.

Where official sources disagree or say nothing, we say so or we leave the fact out. That is why you will not find a length in metres for the cathedral here: we found no official figure. We do not make up visitor numbers, waiting times or personal visits.

Dated changes on the official calendar, such as closures for celebrations, appear in tables that drop past dates on their own. Hours can still change at short notice for celebrations or weather, so the official notices have the final word.

How the site earns money

We earn a commission when you book through links to our partners, Tiqets, GetYourGuide and Headout, at no cost to you. Partner prices come from the partners and refresh daily; the final price is the one shown at checkout. Official prices appear for comparison.

Commission does not change our facts. We do not take payment for the places we mention, and the hotels page earns us nothing.
